(i) যেতিয়া হৰবোৰ একে থাকে (সদৃশ ভগ্নাংশৰ যোগ)

Example 2:

34+16=3×34×3+1×26×2[LCM=12]=912+212=9+212=1112\begin{aligned} & \frac{3}{4} + \frac{1}{6} \\ & = \frac{3\times3}{4\times3} + \frac{1 \times 2}{6 \times2 } \quad[LCM = 12] \\ & = \frac{9}{12} + \frac{2}{12} \\ & = \frac{9+2}{12} \\ & = \frac{11}{12} \\ \end{aligned}

Example 1:

1418=1×24×218[LCM=8]=2818=218=18\begin{aligned} & \frac{1}{4} - \frac{1}{8} \\ & = \frac{1\times2}{4\times2} - \frac{1}{8} \quad[LCM = 8] \\ & = \frac{2}{8} - \frac{1}{8} \\ & = \frac{2-1}{8} \\ & = \frac{1}{8} \\ \end{aligned}

Example 2:

3416=3×34×31×26×2[LCM=12]=912212=9212=712\begin{aligned} & \frac{3}{4} - \frac{1}{6} \\ & = \frac{3\times3}{4\times3} - \frac{1 \times 2}{6 \times2 } \quad[LCM = 12] \\ & = \frac{9}{12}- \frac{2}{12} \\ & = \frac{9-2}{12} \\ & = \frac{7}{12} \\ \end{aligned}
