Number System:
(i) Natural Numbers: Counting numbers such as 1, 2, 3, 4, ... ... etc. are called
natural numbers.
স্বাভাৱিক সংখ্যা: গণনা কৰিব পৰা সংখ্যা যেনে 1, 2, 3, 4, ... ... ইত্যাদি সংখ্যাবোৰক স্বাভাৱিক সংখ্যা বোলা হয় ।
(ii) Whole numbers: The natural numbers together with '0' are called whole numbers. Ex: 0,1, 2, 3, 4, ... ... etc
পূৰ্ণ সংখ্যা: শূণ্য আৰু স্বাভাৱিক সংখ্যাবোৰক একেলগে পূৰ্ণ সংখ্যা বুলি কোৱা হয় । উদাহৰণঃ 0,1, 2, 3, 4, ... ...
(iii) Integer Numbers: The negative numbers, the positive numbers and the '0' are collectively called the integer numbers
Ex: ....., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, .... etc.
অখণ্ড সংখ্যা: ধনাত্মক সংখ্যা, ঋণাত্মক সংখ্যা আৰু শূন্যটোক একেলগে অখণ্ড সংখ্যা বোলা হয় ।
উদাহৰণঃ ....., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ....
(iv) Even Numbers: The numbers which are divisible by two are called even numbers. Ex: 2, 4, 10, 16, 20,...
যুগ্ম সংখ্যা: যিবোৰ সংখ্যা ২ৰে হৰণ যায়, সেই সংখ্যাবোৰক যুগ্ম সংখ্যা বোলা হয় ।
উদাহৰণঃ 2, 4, 10, 16, 20,...
(v) Odd Numbers: The numbers which are not divisible by two are called odd numbers. Ex: 1, 3, 7, 11, 15, 99, ... ... etc.
অযুগ্ম সংখ্যা: যিবোৰ সংখ্যা ২ৰে হৰণ নাযায়, সেই সংখ্যাবোৰক অযুগ্ম সংখ্যা বোলা হয় ।
উদাহৰণঃ 1, 3, 7, 11, 15, 99, ...
